AWARD SUCCESS

At the recent annual BHS Highland South awards evening, Anne Stewart was presented with a beautiful quaich for Services to Equines.

Anne along with Sheila had for many years taken in poorly and very sick and badly treated equines of all shapes, sizes and breeds for many years. The care and dedication required to bring these poor creatures back to a normal and new life was unrelenting but so rewarding.

Judging and teaching were also undertaken and the ability to give everyone an encouraging word would hopefully send them away with a smile on their faces.

Anne is still an active (paperwork) committee member of the riding club and can always be contacted by anyone with a horsey problem they may have or know about.

Once again congratulations to Anne and hopefully the good work continues for years to come.
