About the CRC
The
Caledonian Riding Club was formed some thirty years ago, to cater for
adult riders in and around Inverness and the Black Isle areas.
Today our membership comes from a more diverse area, Ullapool in the West,
to Bonar Bridge in the North and Portmahomack in the East.
The
club is affiliated to BRC and over the years has been successful competing
at National Level.
Our
proudest moment of recent years was at the Caledonian Championships at
Scone in 2001, when our Dressage and Riding Test teams were placed 1st in
the whole of Scotland, a remarkable feat considering we
are a relatively small club.
We
organise training sessions throughout the year for both dressage and
show jumping at a number of venues, using both our Club and external
trainers.
Throughout the spring to autumn season competitions are regularly held at
the Black Isle Show Ground, Muir of Ord and other venues, catering for
riders at all levels and standards. |
