TURN OUT – all turnout classes commence at 9.30am                                                                                                     

TO-1   Best Turned Out – In Hand 3 years and under

TO-2   Best Turned Out – In Hand 4 years and over

TO-3   Best Turned Out – Under Saddle 14.2hh and under

TO-4   Best Turned Out – Under Saddle over 14.2hh

Competitors may only enter ONE of the above classes

Entry Fee £5.00 per class for CRC Members       Non Members £6.00

 

IN HAND                                                                                                                  

IH-1    Yearling (born 2007), Two Year Old (born 2006), Three Year Old ( born 2005)

            Class may be split if numbers merit.

IH-2    Mountain & Moorland – Small Breeds – must be pure bred

IH-3    Mountain & Moorland – Large Breeds – (excluding Highlands) – must be pure bred

IH-4    Mountain & Moorland – Part Bred (including Highland part bred)

IH-5    Highland – must be pure bred

IH-6    Arab – must be pure bred

IH-7    Arab – part bred

IH-8    Veterans (16 years and over)

IH-9    Young Handler – 16 years and under (not eligible for Championship)

Competitors may enter more than one class in this section if eligible

Entry Fee £6.00 per class for CRC Members        Non Members £7.00

R-1      Ridden Horse over 15.2hh

R-2      Ridden Horse over 14.2hh but not exceeding 15.2hh

R-3      Ridden Pony over 13.2hh but not exceeding 14.2hh

R-4      Ridden Pony 13.2hh and under

R-5      Young Horse / Pony (4 and 5 year years)

R-6      Lead Rein Pony  -  Rider 10 years and under, must be led by an adult or

            capable handler and lead rein MUST be attached to the noseband          

R-7      Ridden Arab – pure or part bred

R-8      Ridden Mountain&Moorland – Large Breeds – must be pure bred 

R-9      Ridden Mountain&Moorland – Small Breeds – must be pure bred  

                (The 2 highest placed eligible ponies in classes 8 and 9 will qualify for the NPS Scotland/Bailey’s Horse Feeds

                Open Ridden M&M Pony Final to be held at the ‘ Blair Castle International Horse Trials’ on Friday 22nd August 2008)

R-10    Ridden Mountain&Moorland – part bred

R-11    Riding Club Horse or Pony

Entry Fee £9.00 per class fpr CRC Members     Non Members £11.00                                                                                                               ¨       The 1st and 2nd in each class will receive qualifying cards for the North East of  Scotland Showing Championships
                   to be held at Fountain Equestrian Centre, Aberdeen on 20th and 21st September

¨        Special rosette to the highest placed Caledonian Riding Club member in each class.

¨       Trophy winners in all classes

¨       Section Championships for In Hand, Ridden, Working Hunter and Mountain & Moorland.

¨       Supreme Champion
